ASPECT, otherwise known as Jack is a 19 year old DJ and EDM Producer from the UK. Like many, ASPECT started his DJing journey at 11 years old with his first set of decks, playing any genre, very badly (his words not ours!).

Undeterred, he never looked back! “I’ve always had a very special place for house music all my life, as my parents brought me up with that kind of music from a very young age”.

Experiences

ASPECT’s first gig was at the tender age of just 14 years old, and at Ibiza Rocks Bar in Ibiza nonetheless! “This was an unforgettable and unreal experience, which I will always be grateful for”.  On his return from Ibiza, he had a completely new mindset, and started to get into genre based DJing, which at the time, was disco tunes. Fast forward a bit, and he discovered Tech House music, and instantly knew that was the genre he would stick with.

“I started music production in 2021 shortly followed by some lessons with a professional in London mid 2022. I worked so hard each day to figure everything else out myself, but after 2 years of not being able to make ANYTHING good, I had a random thought to make electronic ambient music, a step away from the hard hitting house tunes I really wanted to make.” This proved an inspirational ‘pivot’ with his debut track (under a different alias) that hit 20,000 streams in just a few months! After several singles and 1 album, ASPECT then stepped away from that project, dropped out of college and went head first into house music production!

Now in mid-2024, “I’ve had 2 releases on streaming platforms signed to 2 different record labels, official collaborations with the label owner himself, Alphajay, and I also have a few more releases due to come very soon, including SPACES here on Cease & Desist Records! My tracks have been played in clubs and livestreams all across the world, with my favourite play being at GHSTGHSTGHST’S set, at Our House DRUMSHEDS!”
