The Desistance Radio covers a vast majority of EDM genres including all sub-genre's of house. We also have dedicated shows for Bassline, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Garage and Hard Dance/Hardcore. We also like the quirky and unusual - so if it slaps, send it over!

Yes you can! Whilst we don't promote monetised music that hasn't obtained the necessary mechanical or performance rights licensing, unlike other stations, we will happily play un-monetised tracks and some of our shows feature them heavily.

If you want to submit a track that isn't licensed, please complete the 'Unlicensed Samples' field including the original artist and track title so performance and publishing royalties can be correctly attributed to the original performer and/or copyright holders.

We usually review promos within 48 hours and will drop you an email to the address you provide to confirm either way. If selected, we will also let you know which playlists your track has been added to and it's broadcasting time schedules.

Unfortunately, we don't always know in advance if your track will be played within a live broadcast.

If approved, your promo will be added to our genre and/or show specific playlists which are randomised for each broadcast. Your release will remain in each playlist for a minimum of 30 days but usually much longer. Your promo will also be distributed to our Guest and Resident DJs and presenters for potential play time within our live broadcasts.

Yes, we are currently going through the processes to register with all the major International performing rights organisations to ensure artists and producers receive their fair royalties from The Desistance Radio plays.
